PROM!!!! (While everyone else was at the Poconos) - MAY 14th - LATE
So, while I'm extremely jealous that I wasn't able to experience the fun and love of my fellow 11th graders on the Poconos trip, but I had so much fun on prom with my friend Nate. It was so fabolous! and it was at the aquarium! the sharks were swimming and it was just really classy. the food was delicable and the music was really jumpy but had some slow songs for those who wanted to "boo-love". i think that all in all, while everyone i the 11th grade was having fun on the trip, I was having just as much at prom. And while the trip was all weekend, the fun-filled prom left with me with a great weekend. I believe that there will be another time for me to experience the love and fun of my fellow 11th graders at another trip, next year when we win the Dragon Cup next year.

This project may be the worse one we had yet. its hard but i can pull through. i will surely hand it in a day late do to me having to do it under pressure.

This movie was a very good movie, it was kind of spooky. the way the father took care of his kids was a struggle. He got through it and made sure his family was taking care of. This was a very good perspective of how a man should take up responsiblities. i enjoyed this movie. I will be sure to pass the movie to another person to watch.

Sin nombre
Yes I agree that this film was very crazy. This film had action from start to finish. This movie was certainly diverse from all the other films we watched in film class. In addition, I believe Sin Nombre was such a very well put together film, just for the simple fact that it kept viewers guess and wondering what was going to happen next. Though this film ended pretty sadly,I think the overall message ofthis film was to tell viewers never get yourself into something you'll later regret.

I really enjoyed watching this movie. I loved all the intensity and action. This movie was very mind blowing. It was interesting to me the director portrayed Mexican's to be and their conditions of living. This film basically was about a gang and all the violence that comes along with a gang. While watching the dangerous film, it seem to me as though all the gang members loved to do was get tatted,eat and run around town killing random people, as if it were a hobby or something. In addition although the ending was sad, I believe at the end of the day the message to viewers was basically never get yourself into something you'll later down the line regret.

Yes, I certainly agree with you on the fact that this film was diverse from all the other movies we watched in film class. I believe though this movie had alot of sad moments the movie directors purpose for it was to basically get his viewers to understand who precious life really is and never take it for granted. I also believe this movies purpose was to show viewers that hard work and not giving up on the thing in life will get you further than you'll ever imagine.

the movie si nombre was about a boy named casper in a gang within a mexican communty. the boy was prone to violence because he had to. the boy faced many tragities like when the leaderof his group tried to rap his girl freind and wounded up killing her. he was also forced across the boarder to america b/c he killed the leader his life was fast moving an later fast ending

I agree with you Mionna i did not know that they teachers would do this to us at the end of the year. I thought that they would have gave us a little lead way because it is the end of the year. But i guess I thought wrong. But in the end this is getting us ready for college and 12th grade it is alot but we have to deal with it.

this week
This week we began to watch a movie call Sin Nombre. At first i thought that the movie was going to be very boring and just uninteresting. As i began to watch the movie i became very interactive to the movie because it became very interesting because of what was going on. I was suprised during some of the movie because certain things happened and I could not believe it. Overall this movie was really good and i can not wait until we find out what is going to happen next.

LATE AGAIN!
I agree, this week has been over whelming. All this work is stressing me out! But yea, it was really sad when Willy died in the movie. It left Sayra with no one because her father died and her uncle was deported. i didnt get to see the end but i think the number that her dad kept trying to get her to remember was arelatives phone number and i think she called the number and was reunited with her family
