It had a teacher who helps student in class learn and do work. She does it by fitting in and helping them understand in away the can relate to. I think it was a very unique way how she teaches her class. Another thing is she talks to parents by going to their house with no invite to let them no how she enjoy being the teacher helping their child. She also helps them stay out of trouble which is a good thing so that they can stay n school and not get killed on the streets. I think if more teachers cared in the world like she do. I agree on how u said the students were portrayed, like uninterested with no home training. But I don't exactly think they were all the way uninterested they just needed something to bring them to interest which is what the teacher did. It was touching. the part that touched me the most is when the teacher went to the black kid`s house with the crazy braids. When the grandmother forbid them from going to school it was like wow. I think that was wrong and it made me feel some type of way.
